Future GPX Cyber Formula SIN

"Future GPX Cyber Formula SIN" is an OVA anime series. It is the last animation of the Cyber Formula series. The story focus on Kaga as he struggle and settles the score with Kazami.

Plotline

In this series, the Bleed Kaga & Hayato Kazami faces each other once again for the last time. Aoi Racing Team faces problems & the likelihood of being disbanded. Thus the 2022 Grand Prix will be the team's last race. Team Sugo gets a new sponsor, GIO, to develop Asurada's engines. Kaga struggles in his first races with his older Exsuperion that is carried over from SAGA.

Kaga was enlisted by Nagumo, who is now out of prison and in relative seclusion, to drive a new car, the Ogre. Nagumo's brother developed the Ogre as a technological rival to Asurada. In contrast to Asurada's adaptive navigation system concept, the Ogre's biocomputer contains the first artificial intelligence concept that essentially has a will of its own. Orge is also revealed to be Alzard's original/prototype. Nagumo warns Kaga that the Ogre is a "monster" of a machine beyond most driver's abilities to tame it. Nagumo mentions that two drivers died during previous tests. He assures Kaga that the Ogre is competitive with Asurada even at its current specs. Nagumo gives Kaga the key, confident of his abilities (on par with Kazami) to master the Ogre and tap into its full potential.

At first, Kaga encounters many problems with controlling the new vehicle, in which in one of the trials, he nearly knocked into Kyoko when he pulled into the pit stop. This forces Bleed Kaga to rope in his 2 friends, Phil & Grey, to join his racing team. Phil enlightended Kaga about the bio computer of Ogre allowing him to begin mastering the vehicle. In the midst of the 2022 Grand Prix, Bleed Kaga was also injured due to crashes during 2 races. In one of the accidents, his race vehicle, Ogre, was badly damaged & was unable to compete in the last race of the racing season. However, chief mechanic of the Team Sugo, helps with the repair of the vehicle which allowed Kaga to take part in the last race. In addition Kyoko tries to wreck Ogre but was stopped by Kaga in the nick of time & he promises that the 2022 Grand Prix season's last race would be his last.

During the 2022 Grand Prix, Hayato encounters some problems of his own such as engine burnout & gear transmission errors. His vehicle broke down in a few of the races, forcing him to lose the races. Hayato also ponders whether he could win the 2022 Grand Prix season with all the racing vehicle problems. GIO competes against time to rectify the problems with the engine of Asurada, so as to build one that is capable to last throughout the last race of the 2022 Grand Prix season.

Before the last race of the 2022 season, the Japan Grand Prix, Kaga cuts his hair & styled it very differently from usual. He dyed his hair black & cuts them short. Both Hayato Kazami & Bleed Kaga competed fiercely against each other, with Kaga chasing Hayato throughout most of the race. In the last race of the season, , Kaga managed to beat Kazami with an extra super boost from his vehicle. With the win, Bleed Kaga clinches the champion by 2 points. Later, Kaga retires from Cyber Formula and leaves for America with Phil & Gray. Nagumo thanks & congratulate Kaga for winning the race. Kyoko bids farewell to Kaga. Kaga reveals his real name as Jotaro as the series draws to a close.

For a number of reasons, an additional series ending was included in later releases: Cyber Formula continues with the 2023 season. The old cast keep on racing, some drivers change teams, and new faces are seen on the grid. Kazami Hayato & Sugo Asuka finally tie the knot.

The New Ending

* Kyoko sees the plane which Jotaro is on and walks off disheartened.
* The start of the 2023 season.
* Henri switched over to the Missing Link and Bootsvorz switched over to SUGO.
* Sera Gallagher (from Playstation game) joins Union Saviour team
* Showcase of race queens of Missing Link, Stormzander, Union Saviour, AOI and SUGO(new costume and girls).
* Appearance of Rena Yuuki and Seiichirou Shiba from the Playstation game.
* Rena is now the FICCY mascot girl and Seiichirou has joined AOI.
* Miki and Shinjyo returned to AOI and Shinjyo is seen driving a new car reminiscent of Ogre and Al-zard.
* Kaga visits the grave of his friend Eiji and met Eiji's wife and child.
* The wedding of Hayato and Asaka.
