Lyell Glacier is a small, shrinking glacier in California's Sierra Nevada's Yosemite National Park. The glacier was discovered by John Muir and is the largest in Yosemite. It lies on the slopes of Mt. Lyell. Lyell.

Since 1883, the glacier area has retreated up to 70 percent.
