The Bishop of Selby is an episcopal title given to a suffragan bishop in the Church of England Diocese of York, which is within the Province of York, England."Crockford's Clerical Directory 2008/2009 (100th edition)", Church House Publishing (ISBN 978-0-7151-1030-0).] The title takes its name after the town of Selby in North Yorkshire. The suffragan bishop is responsible for the Archdeaconry of York.
