Rockaway Parkway

Rockaway Parkway is a commercial street in Canarsie of Brooklyn, New York, which begins at Foster Avenue in Canarsie and ends in front of the Belt Parkway, by the Canarsie Pier. It intersects Flatlands Avenue, another major road in Canarsie. Canarsie High School, as well as a firehouse, and several homes and businesses are on Rockaway Parkway. Rockaway Parkway also is the terminus of the Manhattan bound L train, the first stop on the line. The B17 bus runs primarily through Rockaway Parkway, and riders can get on free when they get on the first stop, which is at the Rockaway Pkwy. station. See also Rockaway Parkway Line.
