Sure (brand)

In the UK Sure is the name of a brand of antiperspirant deodorant for men and women produced by Unilever, marketed with the tagline "It Won't Let You Down".

In the United States, Sure is owned by Innovative Brands, which acquired the brand from Procter & Gamble in September 2006. [ [http://www.cosmeticsdesign.com/news/ng.asp?id=70846-p-g-innovative-brands-deodorant-sure P&G sells Sure deodorant brand ] ] Two popular taglines in the United States were "Raise Your Hand If You're Sure" in the 80's (briefly reused in the 2000's) and "Are You Sure Or Unsure" in the 90's.In 1964, Procter & Gamble acquired the mark from a prior owner and considered using the mark on two different products which it had in development, an underarm anti-perspirant/deodorant and a woman's tampon. 'Sure' (UK) is known by various other names globally - 'Rexona' (Europe, South America, Asia, Pacific) and 'Degree' (North America). All three versions carry the tick logo.
