The United States was represented at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, by the United States Olympic Committee (abbreviated USOC). The delegation of 613 athletes was the largest the country has ever sent to the Summer Olympics. The team won 102 total medals (ranked first), including 36 gold medals (ranked first).
