Winchmore Hill , NorthLondon in theLondon Borough of Enfield between the junctions with "Paulin Drive" and "Vicars Moor Lane", and "The Green"; the (main) entrance is between "Harwoods Yard" and "Wade's Grove", and almost opposite "Barber Close". it was established in 1929. It started with only 9 pupils in a small hall, however later moved into a bigger building. In 1939, its buildings were needed to help the war effort, and the school temporarily shared Avondale Hall in Hoppers Road, the premises ofPalmers Green High School , which is an independent girls' school. Keble is a well known preparatory school in its area. It has a house system with points for sport, drama, music and classroom effort. There are four houses, named after Arthurian knights: "Bedivere", "Gareth", "Geraint", and "Gawaine": these are associated with the colours "red", "blue", "green", and "orange", respectively.
The school colours are black and yellow, and the motto, which is incorporated in the school badge, is 'Puritas Probitas Veritas', which is Latin and means 'Purity Honesty Truth'.
It is a registered charity.
Keble School Parents' Social Association was founded in 2001. It organises social events and raises money for the school.
