The National Shooting Sports Foundation, (NSSF) is a non-profit trade association for the shooting, hunting and firearms industry. Based in Newtown, Connecticut in the United States, NSSF's membership includes manufacturers, distributors, retailers, sportsmen's organizations and media.

NSSF manages several programs, Web sites, publications, events and services to promote safety, access and opportunities in the shooting sports and hunting. The organization also owns and sponsors the industry's annual SHOT Show.

The NSSF alleged that Barack Obama's presidential campaign unlawfully obtained a copy of the NSSF's proprietary SHOT Show media contact list, which Obama used to send out a press release concerning "National Hunting and Fishing Day".[1][2]
