Andre D. Brown (born May 12 1981 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American professional basketball player. A power forward-center, he currently plays for the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies.

High school/college career

Professional career

Brown started his professional adventure in the CBA, and went on to play for three other teams throughout 2004-2005. [ [http://depaul.scout.com/2/572879.html Andre Brown in Atlanta Hawks camp] ] He was selected with the second overall pick in the 2006 NBA D-League draft by the Sioux Falls Skyforce and was named D-League Performer of the Week for December 18, 2006, averaging 23.3 points and 11.2 rebounds in 13 games during the month. Brown was signed to a 10-day contract by the Seattle SuperSonics on January 5, 2007. In 38 total games for the Sonics in 2006-07 he averaged 2.4 points and 1.9 rebounds a game.

Prior to his signing with Memphis Grizzlies, Brown was on the Indiana Pacers' 2007 summer league team.
