Haworth Press

Haworth Press is a publisher of specialized professional magazines and peer-reviewed academic journals. It was founded in 1978 by the publishing industry executives Bill Cohen and Patrick Mclaughlin. The name is taken from the township of Haworth in England, the home of the Brontë sisters. Bill Cohen is now the sole proprietor. Many of Haworth publications cover very specialized material. Often, individual issues or groups of issues are republished as books.

As of 2008, Haworth Press was acquired by the Taylor & Francis group.

Their first publication was Library Security Newsletter. Their early publications were all in the fields of Library and information science and in Social work. As of 2007, they publish over 200 periodicals and a number of professional books. The company is divided into the following business units:
