Dead Dog Farm

Dead Dog Farm

Dead Dog Farm is a fictional location featured on the series Twin Peaks. It is a deserted bungalow out of town full of dead dogs, which has become a focus for nefarious activities. Agent Cooper learns from a realtor that it derives its name from an old saying, which states that a dead dog attracts the attention of both the worst and the best types of people.

While visiting the farm with an eye to buying it, Cooper realizes that the house has been used to prepare cocaine for sale. Acting as a sheriff's deputy, he enlists Sheriff Truman and DEA agent Denise Bryson to set up a sting operation using visiting ne'er-do-well Ernie Niles as bait. The plan backfires and Ernie and Bryson are taken hostage by Jean Renault. Cooper exchanges himself for them and suffers a beating at Renault's hands. Bryson, dressed as a waitress from the Double R Diner, rescues Cooper by smuggling him in a gun; Cooper then kills Renault during an ensuing gun battle.
