Taneichi, Iwate

Taneichi (種市町, Taneichi-machi) was the northernmost Pacific municipality in Kunohe county, Iwate prefecture, Honshū island, Japan.

Merger

On January 1, 2006, the town of Taneichi merged with the town of Ōno to form Hirono.
