Newton Stewart Football Club are a football club from the town of Newton Stewart in the Dumfries and Galloway area of Scotland. Formed in 1884, they are nicknamed the Creesiders because the town stands on the River Cree.

They presently compete in the South of Scotland Football League, which they have won on three separate occasions. Home matches are played at Blairmount Park, which holds around 1,500 spectators, more than enough room for the 60 or so supporters that typically turn up to watch Newton Stewart matches. There was a stand at the ground at one stage, but this burned down, leaving Blairmount Park a fairly open and undeveloped football venue.

Newton Stewart's strip (uniform) colours are black and white stripes.

They were drawn at home against Junior side Linlithgow Rose of the East Region Super League who were one of four entrants into the Scottish Cup for 2007–08 as part of a reform of the Scottish Cup competition.[1] The match was played on the 29th of September with Linlithgow Rose winning the match 6 - 0.[2]
