The girls were taken to GHD and introduced to Dario, the stylist for GHD. Paloma gets the most drastic make-over, getting her hair cut up to her neck. Steph. The Model Walk

""'Original Airdate: April 17, 2007

The girls are told by Jodhi to wear a nice dress, and she takes them to the cinema were they watch supermodels strut down the runway. They are then taken to see Mink Sadowsky, a previous model and runway coach of Chadwick Model Management. She bluntly critiques the girls on their walk. The girls are then told by Jonathan that they are going to perform two different walks to improve, a street walk and a gypsy-esque walk. Danica is named most improved, while Sophie and Alice are ranked at the bottom.

The models arrive at the Queen Victoria Building and are told by Jonathan that they are going to be performing in a runway show as a challenge. Alice wins the challenge, much to the disappointment of Danica, who thought she was the best runway walker. Alice's prize is to go to the David Jones Winter Launch 07, wearing an Alex Perry dress, a pair of Jimmy Choo heels, and a pair of pearl earrings. She chooses Steph F. to go share her prize. The punishment of the losers is to practice their walk around city. The winners arrive at the show and meet celebrities such as Ian Thorpe and Megan Gale.

The next day, sentimental packages arrive for the girls from their families. They arrive at a club, and they discover that they are doing a photoshoot on the catwalk. Alice has troubles with her tightly-styled hair as it is making her feel nauseous. The fashion elite of Australia arrive to watch the photoshoot, and the girls suddenly lose confidence. Jonathan then give 10.5cm shoes to practice with at home. After the girls celebrate Jordan's 18th birthday, she moves into the over 18's room with Jane and Alice.

It's elimination time, and the elimination challenge asks the girls to sell the 10.5cm shoes given to them by Jonathan. The girls are to walk toward the judges while modeling the shoes. Jane and Steph F. wind up in the bottom two and Steph F. is sent home.

The next day the girls shoot an audition for a TV commercial for the new Impulse New York Sass range (created by advertising agency Kindred). All girls are given scripts to learn and each girl is given a chance to audition. Although all the girls have difficulty with memorising the script and delivery ranges from dull (Jane) to over the top (Paloma), Jordan is declared the winner because she gave off the sassy personality necessary for the commercial. Afterwards, Paloma accuses the challenge of being rigged. While Jordan films her commercial, the other girls have to do chores around the set. After the shoot Jordan and Paloma get into a fight but reconcile later on.

For the photo shoot the girls have to make editorial poses with a Ford Fiesta in the background. Sophie gets friendly with a worker at the shoot and Paloma and Jane kiss. John addresses Paloma’s accusations. Jordan causes another fight between her and Paloma, but this time they don't make up.

At judging the girls are met by guest judge Ian Thorpe, who tells them that they have to do a commercial pose with a dachshund. Ultimately, Jane and Alice end up in the bottom two; Alice for being unable to do anything commercial and Jane for an overall bad performance. Jane is sent home.

Model Behaviour

""'Original Airdate: May 8, 2007

Jodhi and Charlotte give the girls some advice on how to act around the paparazzi. They are taken to etiquette class with Melissa Hoyer and Alex Zabotto-Bentley. After that, the girls are then treated to a "fun day", which is actually their challenge, They have meals and go surfing, while a photographer is shooting them. Alice is suspicious from the start, but when a swarm of paparazzi photograph the girls, they realize it was part of the show. Back at the model house, Charlotte meets them to show the girls the photos taken throughout the day, including Steph getting changed and several embarrassing shots of Danica. The challenge winner is Anika who won a $1000 front row seat in the Mundine/Soloman boxing match. She chose Alice to share the prize, which included drinks with Jodhi and Sydney Swans capatain Barry Hall. The other girls got to go, but had seats further up in the stands.

For the photo shoot, and in honour of mothers day, the girls had to pose with their mother, that represented their relationship with each other. Many of the girls broke down in tears after seeing their mothers. At judging, the elimination challenge was the photos taken at the boxing match. None of the girls did exceptionally well in the photoshoot. Paloma was told her mother was better than her. In the end the judges couldn't decide who to send home, Danica or Paloma, resulting in a vote. Danica was sent home because she hadn't improved enough.

Movement

""'Original Airdate: May 15, 2007

The episode starts with Paloma stating that Steph should have been in the bottom two during the last elimination, which leads to and argument between the two. The girls meet up with Jodhi, and learn that the theme for this week is movement and dance. They are taken to Ramon Doringo who teaches them dance moves. For the challenge, the girls have to do a photo shoot in a small box while creating a unique pose that filled the entire box. Alice, again had trouble showing emotion, while Paloma struggled with the contradictory direction she was given. Jordan shone in the photoshoot and was rewarded by participating in a fashion show for Bonds underwear, she chose Steph to do it with her. The others had to work behind the scenes at the show.

For the photo shoot the girls were put into harnessess and were suspended above the ground. They were given a parasol and were swung across the room. Alice was stiff, Paloma and Jordan however did the best. For judging there girls had to do a runway walk while dancing. The girls were evaluated on both their box and flying shoots. Most of the girls excelled in one but flopped in the other. In the end Paloma and Steph H were in the bottom two. Paloma was deemed the weakest and was sent home but in true Paloma fashion, she stated that she was eliminated for being too good.

Acting & Presenting

""'Original Airdate: May 22, 2007

The four remaining girls are given an acting lesson by Paul Goddard, who taught them various lessons about emotion and acting.Jonathon Pease, their stylist, continues coaching the girls’ illustrating them how to present themselves. They had to convince others that they were Australia’s Next Top Model and hold up a conversation with “Marc Jacobs” (Jonathan) at a pretend cocktail party.

The girls had to meet top fashion experts and had to talk about themselves in less than a minute, essentially a speed go-see. They meet Sara Mulcahy, editor of Sunday Magazine, Inez Garcia, fashion director of Sunday Magazine, Grant Pearce, publisher of Vogue Australia, and Bruno Schiavari, leading Australia fashion designer. Alice was shy, trying to ask the editors about them more than telling about herself; Steph H managed to ramble on with interjections of “like” everywhere”; Anika kept the dialogue going in a friendly manner but was somewhat nervous; Jordan couldn't muster enough conversation between the fashion experts, especially with Inez Garcia where most of the minute was spent in silence.Ultimately, the four fashion experts awarded the prize, a photoshoot with Sunday Magazine, to Steph H and Anika. Jordan and Alice were punished by working out in the pool with trainer, and Jordan struggled as usual.

The photoshoot of the week was for Bonds Men's Underwear with Ian Thorpe as the client. The models got assigned to an emotion in a boyfriend scenario with a male model. Anika struggled with "contented", whilst others all excelled in nailing the emotion for the photoshoot.

In the judging challenge, the girls had to convey emotions with another male actor, and change their expression immediately when the judges called out an emotion. Alice excelled, to the judges’ surprise, while Anika was less than convincing. Anika was sent home for a poor performance during the week.

Los Angeles

""'Original Airdate: May 29, 2007

The three remaining girls are finally told they were heading off to Los Angeles, and there will be no lessons, only challenges. They had three main challenges. Once they were off the plane, they were sent to LA's Napoleon Perdis store to act as live mannequins. They are dressed by stylist Mandi Line.

At first the girls disappoint Napoleon and Mandi, however after being criticised halfway trough, they pick up their game, attracting crowds of passerbys, even stopping traffic. In the end both Napoleon and Mandi were impressed with all the girls and found it hard to choose a favourite.

The next day, Jodhi came to tell the girls that they had go-sees with LA's 2 top model agencies, Nous Models and LA Models. First they met Kenya Knight from Nous Models, who Jordan thought was "nice". Next they went to LA Models' Crista Klayman, who seemed to take account of their presence and walk.

The next day they had a series of three go-sees to some LA designers. Ashley Paige booked Jordan for a show and Dom Deluca stated that the America's Next Top Model girls were "Mall Rats" compared to the Australian girls

The following day, they were off to their first international photoshoot where Napoleon Perdis greeted and showed them around his beautiful Hollywood hills house. Napoleon introduced them to Darren Tieste, their photographer, and Charlie Altuna, their stylist. Charlie briefed them on the theme of the day's photoshoot was Modern Hollywood glamor, with clothes straight off the catwalk of international labels with the likes of Gucci and Chanel.

During their hair and makeup session, Napoleon asked Jordan about who she thinks should go home. Alice, being nearby, gradually builds up anger from the remarks. Steph H also adds her opinion about Alice and who should go home, and it escalates into a verbal fight for the final Top Model position as Alice retaliates and defends herself stating that Jordan wasn't competition and Steph H was dumb because she says stupid things and she didn't know if Chile was a country or not.

During the photoshoot, Jordan was reminded to be careful in some of her poses, Steph H being told she looked like a "sex kitten" and relied on established looks while Alice excelled. Charlie strongly favored Alice, except commenting she would be more suitable in Paris or New York markets.

The next day the three models were flown back to Australia for their judging panel. All the judges were impressed by the photos, especially Alice's and Jordan's. Alex Perry especially liked the way the pose elongates Jordan's body length. Their judging challenge was the question "Why should you be Australia's Next Top Model?" During deliberation, the judges felt torn between the unique contrasting styles of the three models in front of them. They felt that Alice excelled in the photo and the collected, calm, thoughtful speech she gave won her impression points. The judges agreed that Jordan's photo is her strongest in the competition, but judges felt that the hair and outfit didn't do justice to Steph H. Alice was chosen first for the final two. After a hard deliberation the judges finally decided to keep Steph, and Jordan was eliminated. For one more final twist, it is revealed that viewer votes will be combined with the judges scores to decide Australia's Next Top Model

The Winner

""'Original Airdate: May 31, 2007

The show began with the girls going to auditions for Australia's fashion week, the Alex Perry and Fashion Assassin shows. The first go-see was at Fashion Assassin, where both the girls got the job. They next went to Alex Perry and were both chosen again although there were questions about Steph's height and age for the shoot. At the Alex Perry show Alice excelled but Steph had a harder time due to a broken shoe. At the Fashion Assassin show Steph excelled and even Alice pulled through as Alex said briging expence to the cheap. Then, the live show began. Alex and Jez had a fight over the issue of Step's height and age for the catwalk of haute couture in Europe and in Australia. They then introduced the girls, interviewed them for a while and after that introduced all the eliminated contestants except Kara but they were joined by Jamie. They were all asked who they thought should win and the majority said Steph. Then they took a look at some clips of the tantrums and drama in the house. They took one last look at the girls' modeling portfolios then asked Napoleon Perdis, Priscilla and Kirstie Clements to cast their votes, and all three said Alice. Jonathon, Jez & Jodhi all gave their votes to Steph and Alex & Charlotte gave theirs to Alice. The two girls then had to summarize why they thought they should win, Steph burst into tears. Jodhi announced that the judges' votes and the viewers' votes will be added together and the winner would appear upon the screen. After a moment Alice's picture appeared upon the screen as Australia's Next Top Model.
