Tommy Lynch

Tommy Lynch

Tommy Lynch was a New Zealand rugby league footballer. An international centre, he played for English club Halifax from 1951-56. He made 188 appearances for Halifax, scoring 112 tries and nine goals. He was a member of the 1954 Challenge Cup final squads. He played in another Challenge Cup final in 1956 but returned home to New Zealand after that. He was inducted into the club's Hall of Fame in 1993. He died at his home in south Canterbury, New Zealand, on December 28, 2006, aged 79.
