John Sharp (5 August 1920 - 26 November 1992) was a British television actor.

He made more than 100 appearances in television and occasionally films between 1949 and 1991. Sharp began as a film actor in 1949 and featured in films throughout the 1950s but by the mid 1960s mostly appeared in British television on popular shows of the era such as "The Avengers" episodes "Murdersville" , Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) (1969), The Prisoner, Not on your Nellie(1975) opposite Hylda Baker, The Sweeney and Z Cars. Performing later in many Charles Dickens TV adaptations in the 1980s his last television appearance was in 1991 in Lovejoy.

His most notable television appearances in a recurring role were on the beloved series All Creatures Great and Small, where he portrayed "Ezra Biggins", an aged Yorkshire dairy farmer. Sharp himself, was a native Yorkshireman and his "spot-on" portrayal of the cantankerous old Mr. Biggins was lauded by many devoted viewers. He died in 1992.
