Orrcon is the third largest Australian manufacturer and distributor of Steel Tubing. The company specialises in Steel Tubing and manufactures Precision, Structural and Oil and Gas Linepipe. The company’s corporate office located in Brisbane, Australia which facilitates the Orrcon network spanning Australia and New Zealand with a distribution network that feeds an extensive spread of stockists in metropolitan and rural areas.

The company currently employs in 500+ full time employees plus contractors and consultants.

History

Orrcon was established through the merging of the two structural tube operation companies, Welded Tube Mills Australia and Hills Industries in October 2000.

In February 2005, Hills Industries acquired 100% of the Orrcon company with the purchase of shares. Orrcon is now operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of Hills Industries Limited in Australia and New Zealand.

In April 2008, Orrcon teamed up with the Australian Karting Association as a major partner.[1]
