"Got Me Wrong" was a largely-acoustic single by American grunge band Alice in Chains. The studio version was first featured on the band's 1992 EP "Sap". It was later performed on the band's 1996 MTV Unplugged performance and the subsequent live album, "Unplugged". Both versions received significant airplay.

A slightly different version of the song also appeared on the soundtrack to "Clerks", the seminal Kevin Smith film, when Randall first appears in the movie.

Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell, who wrote the song, also performed it with the grunge band Stone Temple Pilots on one occasion.

The version from "Sap" later appeared on the compilation albums "Music Bank" and "The Essential Alice in Chains"; the version from "Unplugged" appears on the compilation album "".

This song was covered by the post-grunge band Theory of a Deadman as a B-side for their "Santa Monica" single.
