Shayna Nackoney

Shayna Nackoney

Shayna Nackoney (born April 24, 1982 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian synchronized swimmer. She began synchronized swimming in 1989. She won a bronze medal at the team event at the 2001 world championships in Fukuoka, Japan.

Personal life

Nackoney is an alum of Bishop Carroll High School, where fellow synchronized swimmer Erin Chan also attended the school designed for students needing flexible schedule for pursuits, such as sports. Member of the 2004 Canadian Olympic Synchronized Swimming Team. Performed 648 shows with Cirque du Soleil's "O" show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
