2GB is a commercial radio station in Sydney, Australia broadcasting on 873 kHz, AM. It is one of Australia's most popular talk-back radio stations, especially in the Sydney area. Its announcers generally have a centre-right viewpoint. The station commenced broadcasting in 1926. The operator, Theosophical Broadcasting Station Pty Ltd, owned by interests associated with the local branch of Theosophical Society Adyar, was granted a radio broadcasting licence for the Sydney, area. The station's call sign, 2GB, was chosen to honour the Italian philosopher, Giordano Bruno, who was much admired by Theosophists. Although the ownership of the station has subsequently passed to strictly commercial interests, the call sign is retained.

*Murray Wilton: Presents his program "The Good Life" weeknights between 7.00pm and 9.00pm, as well as on weekend afternoons between October and March (during the rugby league off-season)

*Luke Bona: Presents the weekend mornings program (9.00am-12.00 noon Weekends), focusing on lifestyle issues such as real estate, health, travel, books, movies, music and trivia. Also fills in for Chris Smith when on holidays.
*Continuous Call Team: Rugby League program "Weekend Detention", which airs between March and October (7.00pm-10pm Fridays, 12.00 noon-8.00pm Saturdays, 12.00 noon-6.00pm Sundays). Hosted by Ray Hadley, the program also features Bob Fulton, Steve Roach and Darryl Brohman along with Andrew Moore plus Paul Sironen.

*Kayley Harris : Presents Saturday & Sunday drive. Kayley has worked in Sydney radio for nearly 30 years. Her on air career began in the early 1990s starting out as a traffic reporter for both 2UW and 2WS. She then went on to co-host the highly successful Hans and Kayley Breakfast Show on WSFM, winning several national and international awards. Kayley joined 2GB in 2006 as a producer and presenter. She regularly fills in on air when someone is away and enjoys working behind the scenes Monday to Friday producing the Philip Clark Drive Program.
*Pete Graham: the club show Saturday afternoon 4 to 5pm Interviews with club entertainers, chefs, club news.
*Jason Morrison: Fill in for Alan Jones, Ray Hadley, or Philip Clark during the year when they are on holidays. Morrison used to present editorial segments for the Alan Jones program (now abandoned). He also hosted a Sunday drive program with Angela Bishop, now replaced with Kayley Harris.

* Macquarie Radio Network owns both 2GB and 2CH. The 2GB transmitter is currently situated on the very end of Bennelong Rd, Homebush Bay, while the 2CH transmitter is at 19 Hill Rd, Homebush Bay.
* Macquarie National News is the name of the news service of the Macquarie Radio Network, and is taken by various stations including 2KY and 2RDJ.
