Energy Market Authority

Singapore's Energy Market Authority (EMA) promotes competition in the electricity and piped gas industry and maintains the security and reliability of the power system. Formed on 1st April 2001, EMA is a statutory board under the Ministry of Trade and Industry that regulates the electricity and gas industry and district cooling services in designated areas.
