description=The medal is a disc in bronze alloy with the globe placed in its center. (2) Tendrils of laurel leaves surround the globe.

The gloves stand for unity of nations while the leaves stand for peace.

The service ribbon consists of nine stripes of blue alternated with eight white stripes. Constituting a part of the suspension of the medal from the ribbon is a bar made of bronze, bearing the word "Korea" (for participating in the UN Korean Campaign).
