Loyal Legion of Loggers and Lumbermen

The Loyal Legion of Loggers and Lumbermen (the LLLL or Four L) was a company union founded in the United States during World War I (in 1917) by the War Department as a counter to the Industrial Workers of the World. It rapidly rose to a high of 110,000 members, then slowly shrank until it was dissolved in 1938.
