Alexander Legkov

Alexander Legkov (born July 5, 1983) is a Russian cross country skier who has been competing since 2002. As of January 28, 2007, he has four victories from 10 km to 30 km.

Legkov's best finish at the Winter Olympics was 20th in the 50 km event at the 2006 Games in Turin.

Legkov's 2006-07 cross country skiing World Cup results as of February 17, 2007 has earned him one win and four second places finishes. He was second only behind Germany's Tobias Angerer in the World Cup points as the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships approach in Sapporo. He would earn a silver in the 4 x 10 km at those championships and earn his best individual finish of sixth twice at those championships (15 km, 15 km + 15 km double pursuit).
