Goran Drulić (Serbian Cyrillic: Горан Друлић; born April 17, 1977 in Negotin) is a Serbian footballer currently playing striker for Kavala FC in the Greek second division.

Club career

Drulić joined Red Star Belgrade's youth systems at the age of 15, first attracting attention when he scored 51 goals in one season for the club's under-18 side. Before becoming a regular with Red Star, he was loaned to FK Hajduk Veljko and FC Barcelona B.

In the summer of 2001, Drulić was sold to Spain's Real Zaragoza for €12.8 millions. He then switched to Lokeren in the Jupiler League, [cite web|url=http://www.uefa.com/footballeurope/news/kind=2/newsid=323021.html|title="Various title"|date=2005-08-03|accessdate=2008-03-11|publisher=UEFA.com] moving in January 2006 to Greece's OFI Crete.

International career

Drulić made his national team debut on 15 November 2000, in a friendly against Romania. In total, he had four full caps: two in friendlies and two in the 2002 World Cup qualification.

Off-court controversy

After accusations of Drulić, on February 5, 2007, Football Association of Serbia and Montenegro vice-president Dragan Dzajic and two other former Red Star Belgrade officials were arrested, for alleged fraud and abuse of power.

"In the period between 4 July 2001 and 15 March 2002, the three officials concluded a deal stipulating the club was to get 27 million German Marks from the player's transfer to Zaragoza', it was said. They then opened a bank account to Drulić's name without his knowledge and transferred the Spanish club's payment (an amount of €6,127,104.24) to Red Star's account. After doing that, they made several withdrawals by using Drulić's fake signature they had forged to make illegal profit for themselves"."
