Ellenbrook, Greater Manchester

Ellenbrook is a village in the City of Salford, Greater Manchester, close to Worsley, off the East Lancashire Road. It borders on Walkden.

Etymology

The origin of the first element of the name is apocryphal, but the second element is certainly from Old English "broc".
