George Latham (architect)

:"This article refers to George Latham, the architect. For George Latham, the footballer, see George Latham."George Latham (died 1871) was an English architect, from the Cheshire town of Nantwich who designed a number of buildings in the county.

Latham was approached by John Tollemache, 1st Baron Tollemache with the prospect of becoming the architect for Peckforton Castle. However he was not appointed to the position and received £2,000 in compensation. The architect ultimately appointed was Anthony Salvin.
