Blair's

Blair's Death Sauce is a United States snack company founded in 1989, most famous for their varieties of hot sauce which receives extremely high ratings on the Scoville scale.

Hot Sauces

Their hot sauce is the hottest available, at 16 million Scoville Units, it is pure Capsaicin, and cannot be chemically hotter -- when used, it is advised that the user wear gloves while pouring the sauce, due to the extreme amount of capsaicin, which could irritate and possibly damage the user's skin if left in contact for too long. (In fact, sale is restricted to those under 18, as it is considered pepper spray in some jurisdictions). Blair Lazaar's most famous product, "16 Million Reserve", ranks in at 16 million Scoville units (Tabasco, in comparison, is 5,000 Scoville units). Only 999 bottles of the "16 Million Reserve" were ever produced, each one signed by its founder. Since capsaicin is a weak neurotoxin, consuming more than two ounces of 6 AM Reserve could cause a heart attack in those with heart conditions.

Also in their AM line, there is "2 AM Reserve" (750,000 SHU) and "3 AM Reserve" (2,000,000 SHU), both of which are much more common and usually sell for $30 for a two-ounce bottle, whereas the 6 AM variety sells for around $750 per bottle. They also make considerably less hotter sauces, including hot cheese dips and salsa. However, they are still very hot to those not used to hot sauce.

Potato chips

They also make potato chips in a variety of flavors and heat levels. Blair's Habanero Chips are the hottest type, which are seasoned with Red Savina peppers. The milder flavors include Cajun, Jalapeno Cheddar, Chipotle, BBQ, Buffalo Wing, and Parmesan Habanero.
