History
Part of the Mackenzie Mountains, it was first climbed by Bill Buckingham and Lew Surdam in July 1965.[2]
Today
As of 2008, the Canadian Government continues to refer to the mountain as "unnamed peak",[1][2] however, the name "Mount Nirvana" is commonly depicted in alpine literature.
