National Military Council

The command of the Chinese National Revolutionary Army was directed by the National Military Council (Chinese: 國民政府軍事委員會), chaired by Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek during the Second Sino-Japanese War and World War II. It was organized beginning on January 17, 1938, in the following way:
