Ardscoil Rís is an all boys secondary school located in the heart of Limerick.

Opened by the Christian Brothers in 1963, the school has over 700 pupils and a teaching staff of 50.

Though the Brothers retain a presence on the Board of Management, as Trustees, Ardscoil Rís is now staffed entirely by lay teachers.

Notable past-pupils include Pat Cox (President of the European Parliament 2002–2004), Paul O'Connell (British and Irish Lions rugby player), Sam Lynch (Olympic rower),Derek Daly (European Power lifting champion) and Peter Power (Fianna Fáil TD).
