History

Eastwood High School is located in the city of El Paso, Texas. Eastwood had its first graduating senior class in 1964; today Eastwood High School has 400+ graduates annually. The school is in the Ysleta Independent School District.

*Basketball-They won the Texas 4A State Championship in 1976, their then-JV Coach, Gary Pippen, is currently the Head Basketball Coach

*Football-In the 70's-early 90's where one of the best teams in El Paso, with rivalry's with Coronado, Bel Air(Battle of Helmet rivals used to meet in the Sun Bowl) and Hanks. the last championship was won in 1999 when they defeated Coronado for the Bi-District title. Last time they went to playoffs was in 2005 going 6-5, since then they have been one of the worst teams in District 1-5A
