Ratko Varda (born May 6 1979 in Gradiška, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia) is Serbian basketball player currently with the BC Žalgiris in Lithuania.

Career

He came up through KK Partizan's system, before making himself eligible for 2001 NBA Draft. He ended up not getting selected but still found himself on the Detroit Pistons roster to start the 2001/02 season. Varda ended up spending 2 seasons in the NBA on the rosters of the Pistons and Washington Wizards but during that time he was only featured in a single official game (played 6 minutes and scored 5 points).

Over the summer 2003, he came back to Asia with Beşiktaş of the Turkish Basketball League but left the club in mid-season.

On 21st of August, 2008, he signed 2 year contract with Lithuanian champions BC Žalgiris.
