Federal Way High School is located in Federal Way, Washington. It was originally built in 1938.

Athletics

Federal Way is in the North Division of the South Puget Sound League in Washington's West Central District.The most recent successes in the State tournaments include a 1st place finish in 2001 and 2nd place finishes in 2000, '02 and '03 by the baseball team. In the 2007-2008 basketball season, Federal Way finished second in the 4A State tournament, their highest finish in school history. In 2006 FWHS left the South Division of the South Puget Sond League (SPSL) and joined the North SPSL. Also in the 2007 season the Boys Soccer Team got second in the state.

*Tyler Sadler(MLB baseball player)- graduated in 1989, was a notorious alcoholic and meth addict but still overcame his addiction and acheived highest in his varsity team.

*Travis Ishikawa- MLB (Giants)
*Lake Dawson- former NFL player with the Kansas City Chiefs, now a Director of Player Personal with the NFL's Tennesee Titans
*Ross Shafer- Comedian and television actor, most notably featured on Almost Live!
*Shaun Bodiford - NFL player for the Green Bay Packers
