Bookforum

"Bookforum" is an international magazine devoted to the discussion of new books (as its sister publication "Artforum" is likewise devoted to contemporary art). It originated in 1994 as a supplement to "Artforum". It is composed of reviews, which vary in length from pages to a paragraph; interviews with authors of fiction and nonfiction books; and essays and articles (many of which are tied to a recently published book). Its editor in chief was Eric Banks from 2003 to 2008; the magazine has undergone editorial reorganization. Chris Lehmann, an editor at the "Congressional Quarterly", is also a senior editor. "Bookforum" is published by Artforum International, Inc. five times a year.
