Lost River Cave

Lost River Cave

Lost River Cave, located in Bowling Green, is home to the only cave boat tour in the state of Kentucky. LRC is owned jointly by Western KY University and Friends of Lost River, the nonprofit organization that works towards preservation of the cave. Previously to the FOLR organization, Lost River Cave was used as a dumpsite and tons of trash were hauled out as one of the first preservation efforts.

Boat tours typically run at the top of each hour. Call the gift shop for more information. You can find all contact information at their website. WWW.LOSTRIVERCAVE.COM

Other attractions at the park include; over two miles of nature trails, a butterfly habitat, blue holes, gem mining, and a movie about caving.
