Marc Planus (born 7 March 1982) is a French football defender, currently playing for Bordeaux. He plays as a central defender and currently the longest serving player for Bordeaux since 2002.

Club career

Formed club of Bordeaux,he participated in his first game in Ligue 1 on 9 November 2002, during the meeting Bordeaux - Rennes. He 1.83 meter long Planus debuted in the 2002/03 season, the main force of Bordeaux that season and played seventeen games in Ligue 1.^[1] It was the first of more than 200 league matches in which he defended the team colors. After five seasons that began to pay out in prizes. Planus was in 2008/09 with French champions Bordeaux, he won in 2006/07 and 2008/09 the Coupe de la Ligue in both 2008/09 and 2009/10 the Trophee des Champions . International career

Planus was called up for the French squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, as France were eliminated in the group stage of the tournament.In 2010 he played his first game for the French national team, after coach Raymond Domenech him without a match in the legs into his squad for the 2010 World Cup . Despite the selection of Planus in the French football team for the 2010 World Cup, he came to South Africa a minute into action. His first match he played in the preparation or against Tunisia .Since the elimination of France in the first round, he was never called by Laurent Blanc in the France team.
