Benjamin Hart

Benjamin Hart (born October 17 1977) is an English actor best known for his roles as Foz in British soap "Hollyoaks", and as Adam Rhodes (Pepper Steiger's love interest) in Australian soap opera "Neighbours".

Acting career

Hart is of jewish descent and attended Rodborough School in Godalming, Surrey. He subsequently appeared for 8 months as Foz, a tattooist and art teacher in English soap opera "Hollyoaks". Other television credits include a role in the Granada US series "American Princess".

Hart began a role in Australian soap opera "Neighbours" in 2007. He plays Adam Rhodes - a British police officer-turned construction worker. Benjamin's close friend Dannii Minogue (he appeared in the music video for her single You Won't Forget About Me)claimed it was her idea for him to move to Australia to keep her company whilst she was a judge on talent show "Australia's Got Talent". She also admits to having something to do with Benjamin landing the roleFact|date=October 2007.

Hart made his film acting breakthrough in comedy "Mr Right". Directed by brother and sister team Jacqui and David Morris, Benjamin played the role of Lars – the love interest to the lead. The film is scheduled for world wide release in the first half of 2008.

Other work

Benjamin has presented the BBC's "The Clothes Show" live, four years in a row, interviewing brand managers, talking about products. He also MC’d in the largest fashion theatre in the NEC, interviewing music and fashion celebrities, education forums and Q and A's.

Benjamin has also presented Forums for the British Blood Foundation and Superdrug Stores UK.

Benjamin has also presented the style section on VH1 London Fashion Week; he has interviewed many celebrities both in fashion and music for Dutch and British productions.

During his scouting days, he approached the now British supermodel Lily Cole while she was eating a hamburger in Soho with the idea of becoming a model, leading to her successful modelling and acting career.

Charity work

Benjamin is a Global Angel which is a charity devised by Molly Bedingfield to educate people about children's needs all over the world. Benjamin is also spokesperson for the children's Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.
