Epiphone Genesis

The Genesis was an electric guitar produced by the Epiphone guitar company in the late 1970s and early 1980s. It was aimed at the budget market, and — like many other Epiphones at the time — was manufactured in the Matsumoku plant in Japan. [1]

It was available in three models: the Standard has no binding, and the fretboard has dot inlays; the Custom has binding and block inlays; and the Deluxe has double binding and trapezoid inlays. All models feature two humbucking pickups, two volume controls and one tone control, and a DPDT switch used for coil tapping. The Genesis also features an elongated headstock with 3 + 3 tuners, 22 frets, a front-mounted output jack, a Tune-o-matic™ bridge, and stop tailpiece.
