Oliver Wendell Holmes Middle School, also known as Holmes Middle School, is a part of Colorado Springs School District 11. Holmes is located high on Mesa Road [http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=2455+Mesa+Rd+colorado+springs,+co] in Colorado Springs, with a view of Pikes Peak. The school feeds into Coronado High School. The school mascot is the hawk and its colors are yellow and green. The student body is more than 700 pupils from grades 6-8, drawn from a wide geographic area.
