Trouble No More (song)

Trouble No More (song)

"Trouble No More" is a 1955 blues song written and first performed by Muddy Waters. The song was a major hit, reaching number seven on "Billboard" magazine's Black Singles chart. The origins of the song can be traced back to "Worried Life Blues", originally recorded by Sleepy John Estes, however the Waters version is based entirely upon Big Joe Williams's December 11, 1941 recording of "Someday Baby". The Waters version changes very little from the essence of his mentor's version, but the song is now transformed from up-beat country blues into Muddy's own electrifying style.

The Allman Brothers Band recorded the song for their self-titled debut album in 1969. In 1971, a live version appeared on the At Fillmore East album, which was included on Eat a Peach in 1972.
