Dighinala (Bengali: দীঘিনালা) is an Upazila of Khagrachari District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Geography

Dighinala is located at 23°15′30″N 92°03′30″E / 23.2583°N 92.0583°E / 23.2583; 92.0583 . It has 11227 units of house hold and total area 694.12 km².

Demographics

As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Dighinala has a population of 50933. Males constitute are 51.5% of the population, and females 48.5%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 26408. Dighinala has an average literacy rate of 26.4% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.^[1]
