The 71st Airborne Brigade is a airborne infantry brigade of the Greek Hellenic Army.

The 71st Airborne Infantry Brigade was established after the reorganization of the 71st Infantry Brigade. Briefly, the 71st regiment was established in Drama in October 1940. It took part in the World War II along the borders of Bulgaria, during the German invasion in 1941, possessing the sector of Paranesti, where it won many battles. Afterwards when the Germans occupied the country, the Brigade was dissolved and reorganized in April 1945.

In August, 1989 the Regiment moved to the village of Nea Santa in Kilkis under the 1st Infantry Division. In January, 1995 was reorganized to Airborn Brigade and was placed under II Army Corps as a Rapid Reaction Force.Recently 71st Airborne Brigade's elements have been made the basis of HELBROC BG an EU's battle group composed of units from Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Cyprus under Greek command.
