"The Destiny of Zorro" is a video game about "Zorro", developed by Pronto Games for the Wii. Gameplay details will be announced at the 2007 Game Developers Conference.cite web|author=Tom Bramwell|title=Wii Zorro to leave mark on GDC| publisher=Cubed3|date=February 16 2007|url=http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=73081]

etting

The game will be set in the coast and desert landscape of Spanish California in the early 1800s, as the player takes the role of the hero Zorro. "The Destiny of Zorro draws inspiration from the Mexican, Spanish and Native Southwest American cultures prevalent in California in the early 1800’s" and gives the player a number of plots to play through, such as taking it up against Calavera and his troops or a power-hungry mob boss, thwarting a plot to steal a great treasure, and facing off against a rebel army.

The game is a traditional third-person action game, with cut-to sections where you use the Wii remote to execute certain moves. The Wii Remote lets the player whip, slice and perform Zorro’s signature ‘Z’ slash move.cite web|author=Adam Riley|title=Wii-Exclusive Zorro Details and Screens|publisher=Cubed3|date=February 16 2007|url = http://www.cubed3.com/news/6843/1/Wii-Exclusive_Zorro_Details_and_Screens]

Music

The soundtrack for the game is composed by Andrew Edlen of Harmonic Engineering, and much like the game's setting takes it's inspiration from classical Spanish culture, in this case the guitar style of Spain, both past and present. Andrew Edlen has also composed the music for various other Wii games, such as Spogs Racing and Spogs Football. An experienced Musician and Composer, Edlen spent much of his early teen years in Madrid, and utilizes this experience as an influence for his music.
