The 1964 AFC Asian Cup was the third tournament of AFC Asian Cup. The finals were held in Israel from May 26 to June 9, 1964.

The tournament used a round robin system, and host nation Israel won the title with a perfect record of three wins.

Qualifying Rounds

*fb|Israel qualified as hosts
*fb|South Korea qualified as holders

*fb|India qualified by default (India were to play with fb|Iran|1964, fb|Pakistan and a couple of other teams that were to be played either on home and away basis, or a special tournament, but all the teams involved refused to play India due to political reasons at that time and thus India were awarded a place in the Asia Cup Finals).
