Solicitors Act 1974

The Solicitors Act 1974 is the Act of parliament in the United Kingdom governing the regulation and responsibilities of practicing of solicitors, as well as the companies for whom they work. It also sets out the powers used by the solicitors governing body, the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
