ProShip

The ProShip Suite is a product of Best Way Technologies, Inc.. The ProShip Suite is a set of components that make up all portions of a multi-carrier shipping system.

Overview

The ProShip Suite consists of three major components:
* ProShip Server
* ProShip Warehouse
* ProShip Office

ProShip Server

A multi processed rating and manifesting system consisting of a queuing system for request and certified rating/manifesting engines. Several of the rating/manifesting engines are capable of rating and manifesting in excess of one million packages per hour. The ProShip Server also provides rate shopping capabilities.

ProShip server operates independent of all the other ProShip products and can be used to provide rating and manifesting information to ERP, WMS, CRM or other software.

ProShip Warehouse

ProShip Warehouse is a thick client front end/middle ware component. ProShip Warehouse interfaces directly with scanners, scales and printers (thermal label, laser and pin printers) It provides a scriptable means of:
* pulling data from multiple sources
* applying business rules
* rating or rate shopping a given package
* manifesting and producing the labels and documents required for a given shipment
* pushing data back to multiple locations including tracking information, list cost, discount cost, weight and other package level information

ProShip Office

ProShip Office is a web based client that provides rating, tracking, reporting and desktop level manifesting to a given company.
