Blyth Community College is a high school in Blyth, Northumberland, England. It was opened in 2000 following the amalgamation of Tynedale High School and Ridley High School. It was built for c. 1450 students and has an estimated figure of around 1500 students, and is made up of years 9 through 11, with two sixth form years. It employs roughly 100 teachers and teaching assistants.In 2008, BCC changed it's name(and it's uniform) to The Blyth School, Community College, and scrapped house teams and mixed year tutor groups.
