allstars=3Trevor Giles is a successful Meath Footballer. He is regarded as one of the best players of his generation. He plays club football for Skryne. He came to prominence first when he won an All Ireland minor medal with Meath in 1992. He would go on to win 2 All Ireland Senior medals, 3 Leinster Senior medals & 1 National League Medals. He usually played in the half forward line for Meath. For his club Skyrne he usually played at Center Half Back, with whom he has won 4
Meath Senior Football Championship Titles. Trevor has won 3 All Star awards and was chosen as theTexaco Footballer of the Year andAll Stars Footballer of the Year in 1999. Trevor has had to deal with some injury setbacks in his football career, playing against Kildare in the 1998 Leinster final loss he ruptured his cruciate knee ligament, a serious injury which kept him out of the game for many months, but he returned in 1999 to have probably his best season of his playing career. Trevor has represented Ireland in many of the annual International rules series against Australia. Trevor is a cousin of another legendary Meath footballer Mick Lyons. Since the 2005 season Trevor has not made himself available for selection for the Meath panel.External links
