GAINSCO (amex|GAN) is an auto insurance company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The company was founded in October 1978 by Joseph Macchia and currently markets its products through independent insurance agents across the Sunbelt.

GAINSCO sponsors the No. 99 GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing Daytona Prototype racecar in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series.
